Chill indie pop from Tokyo.

Potomelli is the solo project of Tokyo-born musician Hironori Momoi — a singer, songwriter and composer whose warm indie-pop songs carry the rhythmic instinct of a jazz drummer.

After spending six and a half years in New York, Hironori returned to Tokyo and began placing his own voice at the centre: creating music only he could write, and songs that only made sense for him to sing.

Playful, wistful and quietly cinematic, Potomelli moves between everyday tenderness, strange little turns and melodies that stay with you. The project is still growing, watched over by four cats and a restless curiosity, but it already feels like the beginning of something much bigger.
